Danielle Works a Saturday

It had been a few months since his wife left him. Well "ex-wife" as the divorce had been recently finalized. It was her choice; she walked out on *him*. She said she got tired of "Danielle", even though she was entirely responsible for Danielle's "birth" to begin with. It turned out that she was just one of those women who just couldn't be happy unless they were complaining.

True, he'd admit, that he'd gotten obsessive with his dressing, and that the more he dressed the more his femme and bi sides emerged. Their sex life dropped from "not too often" to "don't bet on it". Sure, he still loved women; he still found himself getting turned on by sexy women in heels and lingerie and even girls in magazines and videos, but his ex-wife just didn't do anything for him anymore. Maybe it was her constant nagging that turned him off about her. Add the fact that she had more than one "boyfriend".

But that didn't matter anymore. What did matter were the few events that were happening today; the last Friday in man's clothing. All but one event was done, sealed in history forever. He took just about all of his male clothing and donated them to the local charity's thrift store. He kept one set so he could finish out his plans before moving and starting a new life. He sold the minivan he shared with his ex-wife as well as most of the possessions that he had acquired during their 15-year marriage. All that remained was one military-style duffel bag half-filled with sentimental items and one suitcase full of nighties with robes, several pairs of thigh high stockings and three pairs of high heel sandals. Also contained was a blouse and skirt outfit that Danielle, as yet, hadn't worn. It would be enough to start anew.

All that remained was the sale of their home. It had been agreed by the two of them that the money was to be split 50-50; she wanted no part of him in her future so she didn't ask for alimony. Which was just as well, because once the sale was complete, Daniel, for all practical purposes, would cease to exist within a day. It was arranged that his share of the money was to be in cash; an unusual arrangement to be sure, but one the realtor was able to handle with little inconvenience to anyone.
