Danielle Works a Saturday

"Hello, Danielle," she said smiling, offering out her right hand. "It's great to finally meet you."

Danielle took Lisa's hand and shook gently, "I'm finally glad to be able to be here as me," she said, returning the smile.

Lisa motioned to the seat next to the desk, "Please sit."

They both took their seats and Lisa opened the folder she'd been carrying. Shuffling some papers she said, "Did you bring all the documents I asked for?"

"Yes," she said, taking a white envelope out of her purse. She opened it and gave all the contents to Lisa.

"Great. I'll keep these on file for the requisite two years. In the meantime," she took some documents out of the folder and placed them in front of Danielle, "before I give you your new credentials, you'll need to sign these."

"All right," Danielle said, taking the pen from Lisa.

"You'll need to sign here, here and here," Lisa instructed as she pointed to various places on the papers.

Danielle signed her new name in the places indicated and smiled as she handed Lisa the pen.

"You've been practicing, I see," Lisa said, smiling. "The first form you just signed is the release document for your social security card, birth certificate and driver's license." She handed Danielle each as she named them. "Be sure to sign both your social security card and your license before you put them away. Keep your birth certificate in a safe place at home."

Danielle quickly signed the two documents and placed them in her wallet and then slid the folded birth certificate neatly inside the purse.

"Now, obviously we couldn't obtain you a photo license as this is your first day as Danielle, so I suggest you head by Motor Vehicles on Monday morning to get one with a photo. It shouldn't take too long and it'll only run you about eight dollars for the upgrade."

Lisa put a form in the folder and went to the second page.
