Danielle Works a Saturday

"Of course," he said, smiling and walking out.

She spent very little time taking out various un-needed items from her purse and putting the rest of her cash in it. Securing the purse and hanging it around her shoulder, she locked and closed the apartment door and headed for the taxi.

"Thank you," she said, getting in and closing the door.

Pulling away from the curb he said, "No problem."

Minutes later he pulled into the parking lot of the bank she would be getting to know.

"That'll be seven-fifty."

Handing him a 20-dollar bill she said, "Thank you for your help. Keep the change."

"Thank you very much, Ma'am," she heard him say as she got out.

Entering the quiet bank, Danielle walked up to a woman behind a desk near the door.

"I'm looking for Bill."

"Your name, Miss?"

"Danielle McGuire."

"One moment."

"Thank you."

Danielle quietly paced around the small waiting area, enjoying all of the new sensations she was experiencing from the bob of her hair to the way the nylon of her stockings rubbed and made that 'swish' sound as she walked. Minutes later a middle-aged man in a brown suit approached her.

"Good afternoon, Miss McGuire, welcome," he said, extending his hand to her.

Shaking his hand gently, she couldn't help but think how his gray-topped head and gray mustache and beard made him look especially handsome. "Thank you, Bill," she said, smiling back at him.

"Please come into my office." He led her through the small collection of desks toward the back of the room. "Lisa phoned me earlier in the week to tell me you'd be stopping by and what you'd be needing in the way of our services."

They entered a comfortably designed room. Bill closed the door behind him and gestured for Danielle to sit on the couch at the far left of the room. He took a position in an easy chair directly across from her. Blank banking forms sat on the small coffee table that was situated between them.
