April Fools!!

I'm Jimmy James and I've been hanging out with the same six guys since we
started college. We're a pretty close knit bunch and have stayed in touch
since then. At 25, I'm the only one of the seven of us still not married.
Even though we all still get together for parties and get togethers, for
the most part they've turned into family get togethers. The adults sit
around cook and play cards and stuff while the kids play. It's still alot
of fun, but quite often I feel like a fifth wheel.

The only time I don't is at the weekly poker game or when we get together
for theme parties like we did in college. Old west, Disco, 50's, 30's,
whatever the theme happened to be. All the kids went to sitters, we would
get all the wives and girlfriends, dress in the party theme and converge on
one of our houses for the evening. It was like old times, there was lots of
fun, lots of drinking and they cemented us together as a group. We didn't
do it that often any more so it was usually an event.

Anyway, back to the present. I was getting ready for the weekly poker
game. Since I was a bachelor, it had been moved to my house because it was
easiest for me. I had set up chips, cards, snacks and of course lots of
beer. As everyone arrived we settled into the usual game. Lots of drinking,
bullshitting and talking about old times. While talking about the old
parties, Bob piped in.

"We need to have a party!" he chimed "Something really outrageous.
Something we've never done before."

"Hell Yeah!" we all chimed back

So it was agreed, we would have a theme party. There were a number of
themes put out and most were dismissed. The lingerie party was a good one
but it was also dismissed. Then Bob struck on the perfect idea.

"Let's have a cross dressing party! All the men dress like women and all
the women dress like men!" he announced.

We all laughed but the idea had a special appeal to me and I was all for
it. Dave joked that he was going to be the bearded lady. We all laughed and
said that he was perfect for it.
