Hitchhiker's Delight

I casually asked her what sort of fun she was looking for and I was surprised when she told me quite honestly that she was looking for a person with an open mind and who was open to experiencing new and exciting things.

Tammy went on to tell me that she and Bill had only met last weekend and she thought him to be extremely open minded, but in the end he wasn't and isn't open minded to everything at all.

In the distance the sun was beginning to set so I asked Tammy if she would like to share the expenses and find a motel room for the night. She shocked me by responding with a huge yes and she'd love to.

The first motel that seemed quite decent only had one room left… one with a king size bed, I wasn't sure if she would be as happy with that but she smiled at the manager and said she would be delighted with that room. The manager smiled and winked at me as we walked out the door and for some reason I knew I'd be thanking him in the morning because I was sure they had more rooms cause he hadn't taken down the Vacancy sign…

After driving for almost the full day, we headed up to the room and Tammy ordered Thai noodles for both of us along with a bottle of wine.
