The New Housemate's Secret

“How was that my fault?!” Rachel protests, grinning at you while the save screen is running and she’s reaching for more pizza, stretching her arm out across the table that is laden with crisps, popcorn, chocolate and liquorice and affording you with a good look of how her full, round breasts are straining the fabric of her top. While trying not to look at Rachel’s chest, you remember that in a lot of ways, it’s simpler to have another guy for a roommate.

“Anyway, all this salt and fat is making me thirsty,” she proclaims, pausing the game just as its finished loading and getting up out of the sofa, “want anything?”

“A beer would be nice,” you reply.

“Actually, I’m in the mood for one to,” Rachel smiles down at you as you remain reclining in the sofa, “Can I take one of yours?”

“Uh, sure.” You’re a little confused. Since moving in, Rachel has never drunk alcohol or been intoxicated. In all honesty, you’d begun to suspect that she was probably a teetotaller.

“Thanks!” Rachel smiles at you again before moving off into the kitchen.

“And try not to complete the whole game while I’m away!” She hollers.

“I’ll try!” You reply.

“Bloody hell those things are disgusting!” Rachel exclaims as the Flood shows up in-game, having to raise her voice a little over the sound of both of you shooting at them.
The pizzas are finished, and you’re both on your third beer, continuing to play whilst savouring all the junk food.

“Yep,” you agree, “especially the fat ones who burst and release a bunch of the little ones.”

“Uh-huh,” Rachel grunts as she blows another one of them up as it comes staggering across the screen, “it’s like a facehugger made love to a piñata.”

“Eww…” You make a disgusted face while Rachel laughs at your exaggerated reaction.

“So yeah,” As Rachel starts talking, you’re both finishing off your fourth and last beers, and she’s holding the controller in one hand while using the thumb and index finger of the other to rub her eyes, “I think we’ll have quit this before I get a massive headache.”
