Sandi Part 3

He drove me back to the motel and Sandi was pulling up at the same time.

As Sandi was getting out of my GTO Jim walked up to her giving her a big
hug.

He said," You must be Sandi I am Jim Anderosn and it looks like you 2 might
be my new tenets. I took him to the house I am leasing out would you like
to see it?"

Sandi said," Yes."

We got to his car and I opened the door and let her in and after she slid
to the middle of the seat I got in.

Before he got in I saw him take out a cigar and light up his cigar with a
worn looking marine corp zippo and than he got in and started up the
Oldsmobile and off we went.

He told about his time in the marines and his short career as a
stock-broker.

He asked," Did the folks at Paramount Studios seem interested?"

Sandi had a look surprise and said," Yes they seemed to like my resume."

He said," I know one of the producers there I helped him with some
investments I can give a good word for you."

She blushed and said," Thanks."

He said," I am a pretty good judge of character."

He chuckled and said," I didn't know anybody would fight to the death for a
valcano."

He looked at Sandi and said," There I go going off on a tangent when my
wife is with me she will give me an elbow sometimes."

I asked," How long have you been married?"

He said," I have been married for 35 glorious years to a very beautiful
lady. Yep even lugs like me can get lucky."

We all laughed at his comment.

We pulled in and he unlocked the door and Sandi walked around the house
uuuuhhing and ahhhhing at the house.

Jim said," That says it all Mike she likes it. My wife did the same thing
with the first house we bought."

After Jim told her about the rent being a $100 a month and the breaks he
was giving us Sandi was just beaming.

He drove us to the motel and dropped us off and said," I know I should be
better prepared but I will have the lease drawn up tomorrow."
