Filthy Little Beast Part 2

Life on a starship is great and I am glad my parents are in Starfleet. Being born on the ship makes me a citizen of the entire universe. My favorite subject in school is earth history. We are learning about how man embraced the scientific method and rejected all superstitions over 1, 900 years ago. I have an indefinite lifespan to look forward to. Disease and death have been conquered and the people of Earth live to explore and better themselves. We learned about the time men believed in what they called God. It was a terrible time when men actually killed each other in things called wars. It's hard to believe my species could kill each other over differing ideas of what the God was like.
