Cross romance

I noticed that some girls in my class had started wearing them and I thought that perhaps it was time for me to do the same. Timidly, I clipped it on behind my back and pulled on the school shirt. I added a navy blue cardigan that I wouldn't normally wear. I checked myself in the mirror and I couldn't tell the difference. Good, I didn't want to be conspicuous. Otherwise, it would be most embarrassing.

At the school gate, I took a deep breath instantly feeling the added restraint around my chest. I looked around and nobody seemed to notice the difference. Suddenly, I felt great!

It was double Chinese history for the first morning session, the most boring subject. I sort of slouched over my desk and it was a miracle that I stayed awake. So it came as a relief when the bell chimed for the morning recess. I watched my classmates filed out of the classroom. As the last of them had left, I stretched my arms and yawned, again feeling the pull of the bra-straps.

"Why are you wearing a bra?"

Stunned, I turned and saw Jasmine who was sitting at her desk a column to my left and two rows behind. She sat diagonally opposite to the classroom door from me. No wonder that I had missed her.

"Don't know what you are talking about." I blurted out but felt a heat spreading on my cheeks.

Jasmine got up and walked slowly but menacingly over. Suddenly, she reached out a hand, pulled at the bra-strap that I thought was well hidden under my cardigan and shirt then let it snap back behind my left shoulder with a loud crack. It was a wicked joke that boys played with girls, but how dare she!

"Tell me what it is then, Steven."

I was busted! O.M.G. just imagine what my classmates would say if they found out. I turned beetroot and was worried sick.

"I..."

"Well, is that a bra you're wearing or not?"

A millions things rushed to my head and I didn't know what to say. I guessed that I must have nodded.

"So, aren't you going to tell me why you are wearing a bra?"
