Above their heads Master snorted derisively as he came around the table, dismissing the slave-supervisor as he walked. Lien heard her footsteps retreat but kept her face pressed to the ground as Master came to stand right in front of her, his fine, hand-crafted Italian shoes hovering just at the edge of her vision. For a while he just stood there, letting her stew, filling up with doubt, but finally he spoke: ""Lien, you are a useless slut, like all the worthless creeps that hang around licking my toilets." Doubt really crept into Lien's mind. Was she here to be seriously punished? Then he continued: "But you have shown some small measure of talent with regard to your sexual skills. And since I have such a limited amount of useless material to select my slaves from, you are being incorporated in my special team of sex slaves. You will be serving along with Xue and her sisters."

At first it didn't really sink in, but when she realized what had just been said to her, she cried with gratitude. She kissed Master's feet as she babbled out her incoherent thanks. Master let her carry on for a little while before putting an end to the spectacle. He grabbed a handful of her hair and yanked Lien to her feet. Looking straight into her eyes he admonished her: "Enough. You have plenty of reason to be grateful, but you are one of my special slaves now and that position requires style and poise. You must at all times strive for elegance and grace. Making a fool of yourself will no longer be tolerated." To emphasize his point he slapped her face brutally a few times before letting go of her hair. Lien quickly recovered. She definitely didn't want to disappoint Master so she gathered herself in a hurry, apologizing in a subdued tone to her beloved Master. He nodded to himself as he turned and pressed a button on his intercom: "Send for Xue," he said into the microphone. Then he simply returned to his paperwork, leaving Lien standing a little confused.
