Blanche surprised her with a smile. “Charisma sold me this place a week ago. She decided to retire, she said. I guess she hasn’t notified her insurance agent yet.”

“Do you have her new address?”

“I have a phone number.” Blanche scribbled the exchange onto a notepad beside the cash register, tore off the top sheet of paper, and handed it to her visitor. “Charisma can decide whether she wants to give out her address.”

Taking the phone number, Tiffany smiled. “Thanks.”
