A few years ago I saw on line an ending for The Little Rascals Beginners Luck, I have been unable to locate the document so from memory I have re-wrote taking some liberty’s.
In the center of the stage floor, a woman knelt frozen in tears staring straight up at the ceiling, mouth wide open, stripped down to her slip, paralyzed in fear, whimpering, helpless, disrespected, the actor Spanky’s mother. The stage struck beauty wished the audience of 100 men women and children would stop laughing at her, she was paralyzed with fear, unable to stand up and walk away from the talent show. Her chin rested on the dog prop, her son had just pushed in front of her to conceal her from the uproarious crowd of gawkers. Her Head, tilted up so as not to make eye contact stared at her new dress that hung from the curtain hooks above completely shredded .
As he stood next to his humiliated mother, he was in shock and embarrassed for pompous mother when he realized the Prop of a huge hairy dog that he had pushed from the left side of the stage to conceal his Mother. The audience laughter at Spanky’s mom expense was deafing and as they voiced their approvals uncontrollably as they were brought to their feet, alive and excited at this children’s talent show. Five minutes ago Spanky thought “Mom was wearing her new dress watching his performance from the left wing of the stage and I now his mom is crying and tears rolling down her checks and all those men in the audience looking at her like a cat ready to pounce”. The patrons were appreciative of Spanky and his humiliated half-dressed speechless mother as they realized they were fortunate to just have been treated to an extraordinary show but not one man woman or child in the audience could have ever foreseen what lay ahead nor what a treat, what a incomprehensible, thrilling erotic, gift of a performances that they were about to receive this late afternoon.
The venue had very talented children performing and Spanky was the final act. Earlier in the day Spanky was furious with his overbearing mother, so he decide to throw the performance. Gathering 25 neighborhood 25 children together, he orchestrated all his friend’s to be at the performance and give him “the works.”
