TAKING CONTROL OF CJ-CHAPTER 2

CJ put the receiver down. Shocked. WHAT HAD SHE DONE? WHAT HAD SHE GOTTEN HERSELF INTO? He was right...he had checked out her information and verified it. He was right about her lesbian neighbors. What did he need her information for? Was this a test to see if she would be honest? Was this a test to see if she was who she said she was. CJ sat down. She had a LOT of work to do. All this information....what was the purpose with it? He said it wasn't about criminal activities. Then, what was it all for? She was racking her brain trying to think of the specifics of why Daddy wanted all this information. Tears began forming in CJ's eyes. She hated not knowing what was going on. She also knew he would test her and had already. Who could she go to that would understand this? He was right...she was alone.

The day went by with her gathering information, writing descriptions, etc. Pages of notes. It was now time for bed. Lexie was wanting to know what CJ was working on so frantically. She heard the keyboard clicking away.
"I am working on a project with a lot of quotes for work. You going to bed now? I will be up in about 45 minutes. They want this in to them in two days and there are lots of information I have to gather."
"Okay...don't stay up too late."

The phone rang. Quickly, CJ picked it up...
"No deadbolts. Tonight leave all your notes on the desk in your office with a paperclip. If you haven't put the key out there, make sure the knobs are unlocked. We will check for the key, first. It had BETTER be there. What is that famous Mexican line? Mi Case es Su Casa.....My House is Your House. Well, we are going to check this out. Think CONSEQUENCES!!!!
Click. The phone went dead.

OH MY GOSH! It was getting so much more intense so quickly. He truly IS a take charge MAN. Not allowing her time to think. Slipping on her shoes, she quietly got an extra house key and took it out, put it above the door header, and went back in the house. Paper clipped her notes. Headed upstairs. She went up stairs, stopped at the desk on the loft, then down the hall and turned left into the bedroom. Watching TV, Lexie was sitting there as usual. Nightgown. Paper in her lap. Glasses on.
"Will you rub my neck? It is a bit sore tonight," Lexie asked.
